Since time immemorial, humans end up asking these questions: Who are we? What is the nature of our existence? What happens when we die? Unable to answer any of these, I ended up studying economics.
I grew up in the Himalayas and moved to Delhi to pursue my undergraduate studies. It was there that I fell in love with Philosophy. I also liked economics. So I decided to pursue economics as a career. I think one should never do what do they really love for money. It ruins the charm.
When I started my research, the world seemed to be grappling with issues of Polarization and Inequality. I naturally started thinking about these issues. My Essays on Polarization and Inequality are available on the Research page of this site.
Exploring without constraints is the ultimate goal of life. To express this, I took some liberty to twist the famous lines written by Frost:
The woods were lovely, dark and deep,
So I decided to take a peep,
The promises never seemed to end,
So I decided to take a bend.
So yes, I sometimes like writing things for which I don't have to give citations. I also love doing yoga, running and talking about everything under the sun over a chai or a beer.
